Gas separation membranes play an essential role in processes such as gas purification, syngas production or the production of renewable fuels. The two main types are membranes that let selectively pass through oxygen-ions and membranes for hydrogen production that let protons pass through. Common for all ceramic gas separation membranes is the operation under harsh conditions of high temperature and large gradients of pressure. The achievable flow rate and the durability of the membrane depend strongly on the ceramic powder that was used for the production of the active layers of the membrane.

We can supply state-of-the-art ceramic materials as well as many novel and beyond state-of-the-art materials. Below is a selection of our most common materials for gas separation membranes.
